It all started on the chessboard in 2007; Ahmed Adly had achieved the title of World Junior Chess Champion after a difficult and obstacle-filled journey, training in the absence of certified trainers and qualified chess education centre. This is not to mention the ِِEgyptian clubs’ focus on more competitive sports. This is when the dream crystallized in his head and he sought to achieve it, to leave a footprint that marks the route for the next generation raising Egypt’s flag in international championships. That was the beginning, and ever since Adly had started training the children, he found the benefit mutual as he was enjoying this just as much as they were. After a huge amount of academic preparation, Adly began to realize his dream and established the first Egyptian Chess academy to be certified by the International Chess Federation in a professional manner, providing a safe environment for children as well as approved curricula. The dedicated team of required coaches work day and night to make sure this Academy becomes a home and haven for all chess professionals, children and youth.
